Happy Friday everyone, welcome to October. It’s that time of year when I want to make pumpkin bread, decorate pumpkins, watch Hocus Pocus, and avoid pumpkin lattes at all costs. I wish I loved them, but I don’t. They smell nice, so that’s a plus. I’m waiting for my peppermint mochas. Yummy. Ok, so back to October. What are your favorite activities to do during this month? Or do you just not care? Well, I do. I care dammit ha. There’s just something about the holidays that makes me want to be a kid again. I love decorating and making food to go with the time of year. It has something to do with the weather changing too. Well, depending on where you live of course. I’m lucky enough to be in an area right now that does follow the seasons, and it’s cooling down. I can’t wait for snow. So I want to wish everyone a happy weekend and a happy start to fall. Go out there and play in the leaves. Grab a latte you enjoy. Rent scary movies. Start decorating. And remember to spread love and kindness always. Here’s a list of the movies I enjoy during this Halloween season. Enjoy and don’t forget to check out my older post on Fall and what activities to do.
1. Hocus Pocus of course. That one will be on repeat all month
2. The Craft- highly underrated. Such a classic and hello Skeet Ulrich is in it even though he plays a creep.
3. Scream- I’m not a huge fan of slasher films but this one is from my teenage years. Loved it then, and love it now. Plus Skeet Ulrich as a creep again. Maybe he is why I’m obsessed with Riverdale now. Hmmmmm.
4. Stir of Echoes- I have always loved this movie. I watch it and then I can’t sleep. Every time.
5. Lady in White- this movie was my favorite as a kid. Scared the shit out of me, but also a classic.
6. Casper- there was a time I only watched movies starring Christina Ricci and Devon Sawa. So good. And yes if you haven’t gathered I was a teeny bopper then and I still am now.
7. Beetlejuice- always a favorite.
8. Interview With The Vampire- Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, and Tom Cruise. Need I say more.
9. Halloween H20 – this one is on here merely because Josh Hartnett is in it. I really hate slasher films.
10. Hocus Pocus Again hahaha – this movie is really the best thing to ever exist.
