If putting myself first means I’m crazy then let me be crazy 

If prioritizing me first means something is wrong with me then let me be wrong

If being single in a society that demands codependency means I’m doomed then let me be doomed 

Let me be wild and free and discover myself 

Let me not settle just to fit in to someone’s perfect mold of me

Let me just be me 

For maybe I’ll find my one true love on this journey I’ve created. 

And maybe that one true love is myself
